First Edition

I started this website back in 2012 by posting all the elements from my first edition of Evolutionary Philosophy, which I self-published in paperback and e-book formats at the same time. These writings represent a broad summary of the philosophical thoughts I had been developing as a hobby for decades, but was then hoping to clarify with my new career. They still make an excellent starting place to understand what it means to have an evolutionary philosophy so you can navigate the site's headings or follow the links below to read about:
  1. Basic tenets that underlie evolutionary philosophy;
  2. Attempts to "know thyself" through systematic exploration;
  3. Analyses of the survival of the fittest philosophers; and
  4. Appendices that attempt to explain in layperson's terms some basic definitions in Evolution 101 and Philosophy 101.

I continue to write philosophy essays regularly, and plan to do so for the foreseeable future. Someday, I'd even like to reissue a much-expanded second edition of Evolutionary Philosophy using all of the knowledge I'm gaining by writing here and in other locations. Please use the button on the right-hand side of the page to sign up to my mailing list and receive notices for all my future writing.
