Fiction

I've dreamed of being a writer since at least the age of six when I wrote my first book, The King and His Laws, which was about a mean king who (spoiler alert) was ousted by his villagers because they had better ideas and they outnumbered him. Thirty-two years later I started my fiction career in earnest when I wrote the first draft of a novel in one month during NaNoWriMo 2010. A little over a year later, that first draft became my self-published debut novel Draining the Swamp, which is about a young idealist who goes to Washington, DC and tries to really make a difference. So, it seems I've always wanted to see the world made better, and I've always believed that fiction could help. To learn more about each of my works of fiction, you can navigate the headings above or follow the links below:

  1. Draining the Swamp — a novel in the form of a political fable
  2. Short Stories of Strengths — an ongoing series profiling virtues
  3. The Vitanauts — my next novel about the end of aging

I'm currently seeking representation for The Vitanauts, but as I prepare to sell that, I'll continue to publish short stories every so often. Please use the button below to sign up to my mailing list and receive notices for all my future writing.
